Rhode Island has lost 7 of their last 10 games and although their defense has been decent as the Rams rank 68th in scoring defense, Rhode Island has struggled offensively as they rank 287th in scoring offense and 296th in FG%.
Dayton has won 4 of their last 5 games and come into this game ranked 157th in scoring offense, 4th in FG%, and 56th in scoring defense.
Rhode Island has struggled in A-10 play and although their defense can keep them in games, especially when they’re at home, it’s been a disappointing season for Rhode Island as the Rams have had trouble generating offense all season. Dayton is one of the better A-10 teams this season as they’ve gotten some nice production from their underclassman and between the fact that the Flyers are 12-3 at home and defeated Rhode Island by a 77-48 margin on the road in early February, I’m taking Dayton to cover this home spread. Good Luck!
