Summit League college basketball takes center stage on Wednesday when the North Dakota State Bison visit the Denver Pioneers.
The North Dakota State Bison ran their conference record to 3-2 with an 85-69 rout of Western Illinois on Saturday as a seven point home favorite.
North Dakota state jumped out to an eleven point lead at the halfway point and never looked back behind 51.6% marksmanship.
Tyson Ward topped the Bison with 17 points and 13 rebounds followed by Greg Geu with another 14 points and six boards.
Rocky Kreuser gave NDSU 13 points and three yanks while Vinnie Shahid added 13 points, five pulls and four helpers with eleven points coming from Jared Samuelson.
The Denver Pioneers have found the going tough with five straight losses to begin conference play after a 78-66 loss at South Dakota State as 16.5 point road dog.
Denver was down eleven heading to the locker room and traded baskets over the final 20 minutes with the Jackrabbits holding a 53.3%-37.9% shooting edge.
Joe Rosga led the Pioneers with 16 points, three yanks and three assists while Ronnie Harrell Jr. added 13 points and six boards.
