Oral Roberts at Denver

Denver Pioneers +4 O/U: 147
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles and the Denver Pioneers will meet up on the college basketball court Sunday.
Oral Roberts enters this game at 8-13 on the season. Following big losses to Fort Wayne and South Dakota State, the Golden Eagles banged out a win over South Dakota Thursday in their last outing.
In the win over the Coyotes, Oral Roberts’ Kevin Obanor led the way on 31 points and 11 rebounds. DJ Weaver posted 24 points with three rebounds, and Carlos Jurgens chipped in 14 points with four boards.
Over on the Denver side, they’re 6-14 this year. After falling to Gonzaga, Omaha, Western Illinois, South Dakota, North Dakota and SD State, Denver finally got a win versus ND State on Wednesday.
In the win over the Bison, Denver’s Ade Murkey logged 18 points with three assists and three rebounds. Joe Rosga logged 17 points with three rebounds and three assists, and Ronnie Harrell chipped in 15 points with seven boards.
The Eagles are 4-0 ATS in their last four Sunday games and 6-0 ATS in their last six versus a team with a losing straight-up record. The over is 7-1 in ORU’s last eight versus the Summit and 8-2 in their last 10 road games.
Meanwhile, the Pioneers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games versus a team with a losing road record and 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 overall. Denver is 1-5 ATS in their last six after an ATS win and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight Sunday games.
Oral Roberts is one of those hit-and-miss teams as far as scoring; if they go up against teams that are as bad or worse than they are, they can really pour in the points. Predictably however, the Eagles stall out against the more talented squads.
Denver is right in that comparative wheelhouse, so the stage is set for these teams to just tee off on each other and light up that scoreboard. I like the over here, and I’m also going to take ORU to eke out a cover.
