Marquette has won 9 of their last 10 games and has been solid on both ends of the court this season as the Golden Eagles rank 60th in scoring offense, 12th in 3P-FG%, and 36th in defensive FG%.
DePaul has lost 3 of their last 5 games and although the Blue Demons can struggle defensively as they rank just 196th in scoring defense, DePaul has been solid on the offensive end this season, ranking 105th in scoring offense & 87th in FG%.
Marquette had a nice bounce back win again Villanova after their loss last week against St. John’s and I’m surprised that this line is currently set this low. The Golden Eagles have the best scorer in the Big East in Markus Howard and as they were able to defeat the Blue Demons by double-digits at home earlier this season, I think Marquette does enough in this one to cover this small road spread. Good Luck!
