The Detroit Titans host the Green Bay Phoenix in Horizon League college basketball tilt.

The Green Bay Phoenix squeezed by Cleveland State 90-89 on Saturday as a nine point favorite to up their conference record to 3-0.

Green Bay appeared to be in good shape with a seven point lead at the break but barely held on with 44.6% shooting and a 22-14 edge at the stripe.

Sandy Cohen III saved the Phoenix leading all scorers with 30 points with seven rebounds and six helpers while JayQuan McCloud added 25 points, five boards and three assists.

Green Bay saw another nine points from Kameron Hankerson followed by PJ Pipes with eight points and three pulls. 

The Detroit Titans dropped to 2-1 in the Horizon following a 95-73 defeat versus Northern Kentucky as a 4.5 point home dog.

Detroit stayed competitive over the opening 20 minutes but were outscored 52-37 in the second half with Northern Kentucky holding a 57.1%-42.6% shooting edge.

Antoine Davis was the Titans top weapon with a contest high 33 points with five boards and three helpers while Derrien King gave Detroit 14 points and six rebounds.

Detroit saw another nine points from Willy Isiani followed by Josh McFolley and Jacob Holland with seven and six points respectively.
