The Evansville Purple Aces go on the road to take the floor with the Drake Bulldogs in a Wednesday college basketball tilt.

The Evansville Purple Aces look to bounce back from a 78-70 loss to Illinois State on Saturday as a one point home favorite.

Evansville fell behind by five at the intermission and couldn’t cut in to the deficit with the Redbirds sinking shots at 51.9%.

KJ Riley kept the Purple Aces in contention with 19 points, three yanks and six helpers with John Hall adding 18 points and eleven rebounds.

The twosome of Noah Frederking and Marty King gave Evansville nine points each and a combined five pulls followed Shea Feehan with eight points and five boards.

The Drake Bulldogs are eyeing a third consecutive victory after upending Missouri State 74-63 on Sunday as a 3.5 point home favorite.

The Bulldogs jumped to a 13 point lead at the halfway point and maintained the advantage behind 46.7% shooting and an 11-24 effort on threes.

Brady Ellingson carried Drake pouring in 25 points with three yanks and three helpers followed by DJ Wilkins with 13 points.

The Bulldogs saw eleven points and seven boards from Tremell Murphy while Noah Thomas and Nick McGlynn combined for 16 points and 14 rebounds.
