Drexel Dragons +4 O/U: 146
The College of Charleston Cougars and the Drexel Dragons will meet up on the college basketball circuit Saturday.
Charleston enters this one on a 19-6 mark so far. The Cougars have won their last five straight games, taking out Elon, William & Mary, James Madison, Towson and Delaware in that stretch.
In the win over the Hens, Charleston’s lead scorer was Grant Riller with 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Zep Jasper added 14 points and five rebounds for the Cougars there, and Brevin Galloway put up 13 points.
Over on the Drexel side, they’re 12-13 this season. Following consecutive losses to Delaware and William & Mary, the Dragons have won their last two versus Elon and UNCW.
In the win over the Seahawks, Drexel forward Alihan Demir managed 20 points with eight rebounds and one assist. Trevor John put up 14 points for the Dragons in that one, and James Butler doubled up on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
The Cougars are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the CAA. Charleston is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games and 23-55-2 ATS in their last 80 after an ATS win.
Meanwhile, the Dragons are 5-0 ATS in their last five after an ATS win and 6-0 ATS in the last six overall. Drexel is 6-0 ATS in the last six versus the CAA and 4-1 ATS in their last five home games.
Charleston has been scoring pretty well during this winning streak, with at least 70 points in four of five games. The lone outlier was a 54-53 win over Towson in something of a weird game.
Drexel hasn’t quite had the same output, but for the most part they’ve been competitive lately. Still, I like Charleston to stay on this roll so I’m going that way.
