Duquesne Dukes -1.5 O/U: 141
The St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Duquesne Dukes will meet up on the college basketball court Wednesday.
St. Bonaventure enters this one at 8-13 overall. The Bonnies recently managed consecutive wins versus UMass and Richmond, but fell 75-66 in their last outing on Friday to Davidson.
In the loss to the Wildcats, St. Bonaventure’s Kyle Lofton led the way on 24 points, three rebounds and three assists. Courtney Stockard also had a good line for the Bonnies in that one with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Over on the Duquesne side, they’re 15-7 this year. The Dukes are just 1-2 across their last three games however, taking out Rhode Island while falling to VCU and Dayton during that span of outings.
In the loss to the Flyers, Duquesne’s Eric Williams led the team on 20 points with nine rebounds. Sincere Carry added 15 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Dukes in that one, and Marcus Weathers put up 14 points and six boards.
The Bonnies are 4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games and 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 after a straight-up loss. St. Bonaventure is 2-8-1 ATS in their lsat 11 road games and the under is 5-1 in their last six Wednesday games.
Meanwhile, the Dukes are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight Wednesday games and 5-1 ATS in their last six overall. Duquesne is 5-1 ATS in their last six versus the Atlantic 10 and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight home games.
St. Bonaventure has hit the scoring skids over their last three games, even though two of them were wins. In their last trio, the Bonnies haven’t scored more than 66 points in any game (but did hold UMass to 51 and Richmond to 57 in a pair of road outings).
The good news for the Bonnies is that Duquesne allows a lot of points in most games. That said, I’m not sure St. Bonaventure can keep up with what will probably be a higher-scoring matchup. I’m sticking with Duquesne here. It doesn't look like a bad spot for the over either, if you like messing with points totals.
