Duquesne Dukes +1.5 O/U: 135.5
The Saint Louis Billikens and the Duquesne Dukes will match up in college basketball activity on Wednesday.
St. Louis enters this matchup at a solid 14-4 on the year. The Billikens have won their last six games, taking out App State, Rhode Island, UMass, La Salle, Fordham and Saint Joseph’s in that stretch.
In the win over the Hawks, Saint Louis’ top scorers were Javon Bess and Dion Wiley, each with 20 points and a combined 10 rebounds between them. Doubling up for the Billikens there was Hasahn French, with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Over on the Duquesne side, they’re 13-5 this season. The Dukes have won their last four straight games, taking out Fordham, Saint Joseph’s, Richmond and George Washington in that time.
In the win over the Colonials, the Dukes’ Michael Hughes put up 21 points with 14 rebounds to lead the team. Eric Williams had a nice line for Duquesne as well, bagging 15 points and nine rebounds with three assists.
The Billikens are 37-16 ATS in their last 53 versus the Atlantic 10 and 1-7 ATS in their last eight following an ATS win. St. Louis is 0-6 ATS in their last six Wednesday games and the under is 5-1 in their last six overall.
Meanwhile, the Dukes are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six Wednesday games and 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine after an ATS win. Duquesne is 0-4 ATS in their last five home games and the over is 4-1 in their last five home games.
Since the overmatched loss to Florida State last month, St. Louis has been on a nice roll—though some of their games finished a little too close for comfort.
Duquesne is rolling right along as well, and they’ve been putting up nice points totals in their last three outings. This is a tough pick, as the game really could go either way, but I’ll take Duquesne at home to eke into a cover here.
