|Date & Time||Saturday December 8, 2018, 4:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: East Tennessee State Buccaneers -12.5 -- Over/Under: 145
The Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks and the East Tennessee State Buccaneers will meet up in college basketball activity on Saturday.
TN-Martin enters this one at 3-3 overall. The Skyhawks have taken out Cumberland TN, Western Illinois and UNC Asheville but dropped to Western Kentucky, Mercer and Tulane so far.
In the Green Wave game, TN-Martin’s Fatodd Lewis put up 20 points with four rebounds to lead the team, and Kevin Little was second on the squad with 15 points, two rebounds and one helper.
Over on the ETSU side, they’re 7-3 this season. the Buccaneers dropped two of their first three games, but since have gone 6-1 with a win 107-60 over Reinhardt in their last outing back on Monday.
In the Eagles game, ETSU’s Jeromy Rodriguez put up a double-double on 17 points with 13 rebounds and two assists, and Daivien Williamson also had a nice game with 17 points, five assists and six rebounds.
The Skyhawks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven Saturday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. UT-Martin is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six non-conference games.
Meanwhile, East Tennessee State is 11-0 ATS in their last 11 versus the Ohio Valley and 22-4-1 ATS in their last 27 Saturday games. The Buccaneers are 24-8-1 ATS in their last 33 non-conference games and 27-11 ATS in their last 38 home games.
TN-Martin has been pretty choppy this year, but the good news is that they’ve really only been shut down offensively in one game this season.
East Tennessee State seems a little more reliable these days, and they’re scoring well also. I’m going to go with the Bucs here.
