The Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks open their OVC college basketball slate on the road at the Eastern Illinois Panthers.

The Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks begin conference action with back to back defeats after a 94-80 loss at Bowling Green on Saturday as an eleven point road dog.

Tennessee-Martin trailed by 16 points heading to the locker room and were outshot 47.9%-39.4% which was decisive.

Quinten Dove was the Skyhawks best player with 20 points, five pulls and three steals on 8-14 marksmanship while Preston Parks and Parrish Hewitt netted 15 points and combined for ten rebounds.

DelFinko Bogan gave UTM ten points and five helpers followed by a nine point, six assist performance from Kevin Little.

The Eastern Illinois Panthers have been playing well with wins in four of five following an 81-70 victory against North Alabama as a 7.5 point home favorite on Sunday.

Mack Smith topped the Panthers offense with a contest high 21 points and seven rebounds on 4-6 from long range and 9-10 at the line while Shareef Smith added 20 points, four pulls and six assists on 5-9 shooting and 9-11 at the stripe. 

EIU received 13 points from Ben Harvey on 5-10 accuracy with Cam Burrell adding eleven points, seven rebounds and ten assists on 5-6.
