The Kent State Golden Flashes go on the road to face the Eastern Michigan Eagles in Saturday college basketball action.

The Kent State Golden Flashes evened their conference record at 1-1 after thumping Western Michigan 88-73 on Tuesday as a six point home favorite.

Kent State defended well enough but it was the offense that stood out with the team averaging around 78 points per contest.

Jaylin Walker pace the Golden Flashes with 23 points, three yanks and five helpers with Antonio Williams tossing in 14 points.
Kent State saw Mitch Peterson and Philip Whittington net 13 points apiece with Whittington hauling in 15 rebounds while Jalen Avery added 12 points, seven boards and eight assists.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles picked up their first win in the MAC with an 84-82 overtime decision at Ball State Tuesday as an 11.5 point road dog.

Elijah Minnie spurred the upset with a 25 point, seven board performance with James Thompson IV adding 18 points and a contest high 19 rebounds.

The Eagles saw Kevin McAdoo and Paul Jackson score 15 points each with Jackson handing out five assists while Ty Grace chipped in with nine points.
