Miami-Ohio is 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 11-5-1 ATS in their last 17 road games against a team with a home winning percentage above .600 while the under is 6-0 in their last 6 conference games. Eastern Michigan is 12-3 ATS in their last 15 conference games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall while the under is 11-5 in their last 16 home games. Miami-Ohio is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings between these two teams at Eastern Michigan.
I definitely understand why Eastern Michigan would be favored here, as the Eagles have killed it ATS dating back to last season when playing within the conference and have been solid ATS as of late. However, the Eagles have also dropped 4 of their last 5 games, and while Miami-Ohio is far from a world-beater, the RedHawks have a history of success in Eastern Michigan’s backyard. Miami-Ohio has also been pretty solid ATS on the road in all facets dating back to last year, so I’ll take a shot with Miami-Ohio and the points in this one.
