Eastern Michigan Eagles +2.5 O/U: 133.5
The Toledo Rockets and the Eastern Michigan Eagles will match up on the college basketball court Tuesday.
Toledo enters this game with a 20-5 mark on the year. Following a five-game win streak over Central Michigan, Miami OH, Northern IL, Akron and Bowling Green, the Rockets fell in their last game to Buffalo.
In the loss to the Bulls, Toledo’s lead scorer was Jaelan Sanford, with 24 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. Marreon Jackson added 20 points and five boards for the Rockets there, and Luke Knapke posted 11 points with eight rebounds.
Over on the Eastern Michigan side, they’re 11-14 this year. Following consecutive victories over Northern Illinois and Ohio, the Eagles lost their last game versus Kent State 71-58 on Saturday.
In the loss to the Flashes, Eastern Michigan’s Kevin McAdoo led the team on 13 points with one rebound and one assist. The only other Eagles player in double-figures was Tariq Silver with 10 points and two rebounds.
The Rockets are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine road games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five overall. Toledo is 3-1-1 ATS in their last five versus the MAC and the under is 11-5 in the last 16 versus the MAC.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 versus the MAC and 5-2 ATS in their last seven Tuesday games. EMU is 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games and the under is 4-0 in their last four overall.
Toledo stood pretty tall against a good Buffalo team in their last outing, and even took a 39-36 lead into the half before losing steam later in the game. Aside from that, the Rockets have had a few scoring duds recently but nothing they haven't been able to overcome.
As for the Eagles, they’ve failed to surpass 66 points in any of their last four games, so I don’t have much confidence in them these days. I’m sticking with Toledo here.
