Big Sky college basketball action continues with the Eastern Washington Eagles hosting the Montana State Bobcats.

The Montana State Bobcats saw a three game winning streak come to an end in a 73-70 defeat to Northern Colorado as a 2.5 point home favorite.

Montana State was down seven points at the break but stayed competitive with a few more long balls keeping the game close.

The Bobcats were balanced with Tyler Hall pouring on 25 points with three yanks while Devin Kirby added ten points and four pulls.

The threesome of Ladan Ricketts, Harald Frey and Keljin Blevins gave MSU nine points each and 19 rebounds followed by Sam Neumann with seven points and five pulls.

The struggling Eastern Washington Eagles have a shot at consecutive victories after a 78-71 win against Montana as a 6.5 point home dog.

Eastern Washington was up three heading to the locker room with 23 Montana fouls turning in to a 21-13 advantage at the line which was decisive.

Mason Peatling gave the Eagles 17 points followed by Tyler Kidd with 13 points, four pulls and five helpers.

EWU saw 12 points from Jack Perry while the twosome of Jacob Davison and Kim Aiken Jr. tossed in eleven points apiece.
