The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks and the Eastern Washington Eagles will meet up on the college basketball court Monday.

Northern Arizona enters this one with a 7-13 mark on the season. The Lumberjacks are 3-1 in their last four outings, with a loss to Northern Colorado mixed in with wins over Portland State, Southern Utah and Idaho.

In the win over the Vandals, Northern Arizona’s top performer was Bernie Andre, doubling up on 20 points, 11 rebounds and two assists. Ted McCree led the scoring for the Lumberjacks in that one with 24 points.

Over on the Eastern Washington side, they’re 7-13 this year as well. The Eagles have also gone 3-1 in their last four games, falling to Portland State with victories against Montana State, Sacramento State and Southern Utah.

In the win over the Thunderbirds, Eastern Washington's Kim Aiken led the way on 24 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double, and Jacob Davidson added 21 points with five rebounds. Jesse Hunt chipped in with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Eagles in that one.

The Lumberjacks are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall. NAU is also 5-2 ATS in their last seven versus the Big Sky and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 after an ATS win.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven versus the Big Sky. Eastern Washington is 4-17 ATS in their last 21 overall and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 after an ATS loss.

The good news for Northern Arizona is that (aside from the Northern CO game), they’ve been scoring well lately. In each of their last three wins, the Lumberjacks have put up at least 80 points.

That said, Eastern Washington has been lighting up the scoreboard in their own right, with at least 82 points in each of their last three wins. The over looks like a reasonable play in this one, and given the home lift I like the Eagles to bang out a cover here.
