The Northeastern Huskies go on the road to oppose the Elon Phoenix in CAA college basketball.

The Northeastern Huskies have begun their conference schedule 0-2 after a 75-72 defeat at Hofstra on Saturday as a 4.5 point road dog.

Northeastern was balanced with Bolden Brice netting 17 points and handing out five assists followed by a 14 point effort from Jordan  Roland.

The Elon Phoenix fell to 0-2 in the Colonial after a 77-65 loss at Delaware on Saturday as a 7.5 point underdog.

Elon trailed by eight heading to the locker room and never made a run with Delaware holding a 48.9%-43.3% edge in marksmanship along with a 20-5 advantage at the line.

Steven Santa Ana was the top threat for the Phoenix with 18 points and five pulls while Tyler Seibring added 17 points and three yanks.

Northeastern Huskies are 1-4-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall and over  is 7-3 in Huskies last 10 overall. Elon Phoenix are 17-36 ATS in their last 53 games overall and Elon Phoenix are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 vs. Colonial Athletic Association and Elon Phoenix are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 home games. Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and road team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings.

My theory here is Northeastern can not afford a third loss in conference play this early in the season…

Northeastern -9

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
