The Fairfield Stags welcome the Manhattan Jaspers to town in a Sunday college basketball matchup.

The Manhattan Jaspers come off of a 66-52 defeat at the hands of visiting Iona on Friday night as a three point underdog.

Manhattan is buried in the standings but have been playing their best basketball of the season with wins in six of eight.

Tykei Greene topped the Jaspers offense with 16 points while Ebube Ebube tossed in 12 points and hauled in ten rebounds.

Warren Williams gave Manhattan ten points, seven boards and three steals with Nehemiah Mack chipping in with eight points before fouling out.

The Fairfield Stags problems continued in a 78-73 loss at the hands of the visiting Niagara Purple Eagles as a two point home dog. 

Fairfield is next to last in the MAAC as the team hast lost four straight with the offense struggling to reach 60 points too often.

Neftali Alvarez paced the Stags with 16 points and three yanks followed by Aidas Kavaliauskas with eleven points, five pulls and six assists.

Landon Taliaferro pumped in 18 points and grabbed three boards off the bench with Taj Benning adding another eight points.
