The Mean Green are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, however, are just 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss. The Golden Panthers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
North Texas has lost 3 of their last 5 games and come into this game ranked T-172nd in scoring offense, 11th in scoring defense, and 26th in defensive FG%.
FIU has lost 4 of their last 6 games and although they can put points up on the board as they rank 10th in scoring offense, the Golden Panthers have struggled defensviely as they come into this match-up ranked 344th in scoring defense & 321st in defensive FG%.
FIU is a team that likes to get up and down the floor as fast as possible, however, that is going to be a challenge agianst a North Texas team that likes to control the pace and really gets at you on the defensive end. The Mean Green are a balanced team and as they have a winning record on the road this season, I think North Texas will do enough to cover this small spread.
