The Line: Florida State Seminoles -26 -- Over/Under: 145
The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks and the Florida State Seminoles will meet up on the college basketball circuit Monday.
SEMO comes into this game with a 5-6 record this year. The Redhawks have thus far fallen to St. Louis, Bradley, South Alabama, Western Illinois, Southern Illinois and The Citadel.
In the Bulldogs game, the Redhawks’ lead scorer was Ledarrius Brewer with 24 points, three rebounds and two assists. Sage Tolbert led the SEMO rebounding with seven, and Alex Caldwell added 14 points.
Over on the Florida State side, they’re sitting at 8-1 so far. Aside from a loss to Villanova, the Seminoles have taken out Florida, Tulane, Canisius, UAB, LSU, Purdue, Troy and UConn.
In the Huskies game, Florida State’s Terance Mann logged 20 points and nine rebounds, while Christ Koumadje put up 11 rebounds and seven points. David Nichols chipped in 16 points for the Seminoles there as well.
The Redhawks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven Monday games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS loss. SEMO is 1-4 ATS in the last five non-conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.
Meanwhile, the Seminoles are 3-1-2 ATS in their last six following an ATS win and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Monday games. Florida State is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four home games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five overall.
Southeast Missouri State is just 1-3 over their last four games, but they’ve been scoring fairly well in that span. The Redhawks have put up at least 73 points in each of their last three.
As for Florida State, they’ve had a few scoreboard scares over their last few games, but all in all have looked solid, especially on offense. I’m going Seminoles.
