The Kentucky Wildcats and the Florida Gators will meet up on the college basketball circuit Saturday.

Kentucky enters this matchup with a 17-3 mark on the season. The Wildcats are sitting on a seven-game win streak, taking out Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Auburn, MS State, Kansas and Vanderbilt in that time.

In the win over the Commodores, Kentucky forward PJ Washington led the team with 26 points, 12 rebounds and two assists. Nick Richards added 14 points for the Wildcats there, and Tyler Herro posted 12 points.

Over on the Florida side, they’re 12-8 this season. The Gators are 3-1 over their last four games, with a loss to TCU alongside victories over Georgia, Texas A&M and Mississippi in that stretch.

In the OT win over the Rebels, Florida’s Noah Locke led the way on 22 points, three rebounds and one assist. KeVaughn Allen added 21 points and five assists for the Gators in that one, and Keyontae Johnson posted 15 points with six rebounds.

Kentucky is 4-0 ATS in their last four after an ATS win and 5-0 ATS in their last five overall. The Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last four versus the SEC and 5-1 ATS in their last six road games.

Meanwhile, the Gators are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four after a straight-up win. The over is 4-0 in Florida’s last four home games and 4-1 in their last five versus the SEC.

Kentucky’s loss to a tricky Alabama team early last month seems a distant memory now, and the Wildcats are looking pretty good across this win streak. They’ve scored at least 71 points in each of their last four outings and have drilled a pair of ranked squads in that stretch.

Florida has played pretty well in their last two home games, but I don’t think the lift will be enough to overcome the Wildcats here. I’m going to stick with Kentucky on the cover.
