The Line: Florida Gators -19.5 -- Over/Under: 128.5
The Mercer Bears and the Florida Gators will meet up in college basketball activity on Tuesday.
Mercer enters this one with a 4-6 record overall. The Bears have fallen to UAB, Georgia State, NC State, The Citadel, Florida Atlantic and Georgia Southern so far this year.
In the Eagles game, Mercer’s Jaylen Stowe put up 18 points with eight rebounds and four assists to lead the team, and Marcus Cohen helped out on 15 points, six assists and two boards.
Over on the Florida side, they’re 5-4 this season. The Gators have beaten Charleston Southern, La Salle, Stanford, North Floirda and West Virginia but fallen to Florida State, Oklahoma, Butler and Michigan State.
In the Spartans game, Florida’s Andrew Nembhard and KeVaughn Allen were the only Gators in double-figures, sharing the team scoring lead with 13 apiece alongside four assists and three rebounds between them.
Mercer is 4-1 ATS in their last five Tuesday games and 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 following a straight-up loss. The Bears are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 overall and the under is 3-1-1 in their last five road games.
Meanwhile, the Gators are 5-0 ATS in their last five following a straight-up loss and 5-1 ATS in their last six following an ATS loss. Florida is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Tuesday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five versus a team with a losing straight-up record.
Mercer is currently sitting on a three-game losing streak, and though they were competitive with Florida Atlantic the other two weren’t close at all.
As for Florida, they aren’t exactly drilling the scoreboard over their last two games (66 and 59 points, respectively), but shouldn't have a ton of trouble here. I’m going Gators.
