The West Virginia Mountaineers look for another victory to build on their four-game winning streak. Esa Ahmad is averaging 16.6 points and two assists while Sagaba Konate is averaging 14.8 points and 8.2 rebounds. The Gators are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Tuesday games, 2-5 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS win. The Mountaineers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games, 2-6 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The over is 13-3 in Mountaineers last 16 overall. The under is 5-2 in Gators last 7 overall.
The Florida Gators have issues scoring the basketball, but they've returned to their defensive roots and will be a team to watch if the offense can catch up even just a little up. Right now, Florida is one of the better defensive teams in the country. The West Virginia Mountaineers have been shaky defensively up to this point and have had to rely on an offense that's currently top-25 in points per game. I'm not sure how long WVU can continue that style of play. I trust Florida and it's defense to scratch out a victory in what could be an ugly, sloppy basketball game.
