Colorado State held a 43-36 lead at halftime and a 71-62 lead with 5:32 left in regulation, however, struggled on both ends of the court down the stretch and allowed UNLV to get the come from behind victory after the Rebels Cheikh Mbacke Diong made the game winning lay-up with just :01 second left in regulation. Colorado State lost despite holding UNLV to just 33.8% shooting from the field & 23.5% from beyond the arc. The Rams are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 road games, however, are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win. The Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 31-9 ATS in their last 40 games following an ATS win.
Colorado State has an outstanding player in Nico Carvacho, however, the Rams have lost 8 of their last 9 games and currently rank just 290th in scoring defense & 213th in defensive FG%. Fresno State have won 8 of their last 9 games and have been solid on both ends of the court this season as they rank 66th in scoring offense & 55th in scoring defense. The Bulldogs just got their best player back in Deshon Taylor and as they the Bulldogs are 7-1 at home, I think Fresno State does enough to cover this double-digit spread.
