Saturday college basketball brings us to the SoCon where the UNC Greensboro Spartans visit the Chattanooga Mocs.
The surging North Carolina Greensboro Spartans have won seven straight after downing visiting Samford 75-67 as an eight point favorite.
UNC Greensboro took an eight point lead in to the break and traded baskets over the final 20 minutes behind 43.3% shooting and 14 extra shots.
Isaiah Miller made sure there was no upset with 22 points, seven boards and three steals with Kyrin Galloway adding 13 points, four pulls and three steals.
The Spartans saw 12 points and five pulls from Kaleb Hunter followed by Demetrius Troy with eleven points, three yanks and five helpers.
The Chattanooga Mocs squeezed by VMI 71-70 as a 1.5 point road favorite on Thursday which put an end to a four game slide.
Chattanooga led by a four point margin after 20 minutes and overcame a second half VMI comeback behind 12 long balls.
Thomas Smallwood paced a balanced Mocs offense with 16 points and six boards while Kevin Easley, David Jean-Baptiste and Donovann Toatley netted eleven points apiece.
