The George Mason Patriots host the La Salle Explorers in Atlantic Ten college basketball.

The La Salle Explorers ran their winning streak to four games following an 83-69 win against visiting St. Joseph’s on Tuesday.

La Salle was up six points after 20 minutes and continued to stretch the advantage behind 53.7% marksmanship.

The Explorers saw 18 points, four pulls and six assists from Traci Carter with Saul Phiri adding 17 points, five boards and four helpers.

David Beatty gave La Salle another 15 points followed by Pookie Powell with 14 points, five boards and five assists with Ed Croswell chipping in with eight points and eight rebounds.

The George Mason Patriots have followed a five game winning streak with back to back losses after an 81-67 defeat at Richmond.

George Mason shot the ball at 50% but gave the ball away 19 times to make an easy winner of the Spiders who sank shots at 56.6% from the floor.

The Patriots saw 20 points from Otis Livingston II followed by Jordan Miller who tossed in 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Jarred Reuter gave George Mason eight points and six boards while Javon Greene and Al Wilson chipped in with seven points and five points.
