The Georgia State Panthers end their college basketball slate with a trip to face the Georgia Southern Eagles.

The surging Georgia State Panthers have won five of six after upending the UALR Trojans 83-70 as a nine point home favorite.

Kane Williams led six Panthers in the DD scoring column with 17 points while Nelson Philips and Jeff Thomas netted 14 points each and a combined eight rebounds.

Devin Mitchell gave Georgia State 13 points and three assists followed by Mike Benievi and D’Marcus Simmonds with a combined 21 points.

The Georgia Southern Eagles have racked up six straight victories after downing Arkansas State 81-70 as an 11.5 point home favorite.

Tookie Brown led the big  offense  of  the  Eagles  with  17 points and six boards  followed by Isaiah Crawley with 15 points.

Simeon Carter and Calvin Wishart gave Georgia Southern 12 points apiece while David-Lee Jones Jr. and Montae Glenn chipped in with eight and seven points.
