Boston University Terriers (3-5) will visit the George Washington Colonials (3-5) at the Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C. for a non-conference match-up. The George Washington Colonials lost a close one against South Carolina to open up their December. Armel Potter’s 22 points weren’t enough against the SEC foes in South Carolina. Before Sunday’s loss, George Washington had  satisfying wins against Evansville , who earlier defeated Duke on the road, and Milwaukee.

Armel Potter leads George Washington with 13.7 points and 4.4 assists. Arnaldo Toro leads the team in rebounds with 12.5 a game. Two of George Washington’s losses have come in close contests after losing to American by two points and Morgan State by four points.

Boston University played eight games in November and have dropped three in a row since defeating South Carolina. Boston will only play five games in December, giving themselves a much needed break. They’re led by Walter Whyte who leads the team in scoring with 13.4 points. Max Mahoney leads the team with 7 rebounds per contest.

George Washington is below average on the offensive side of the ball, as they’re ranked 237 in offensive field goal percentage while shooting 40.9 percent from the field. They shoot just 31.1% from three this season. Boston University is a little bit better on the offensive side of the ball as they shoot 42 percent from the field but just 30.5 percent from three.

Terriers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Atlantic 10.

Colonials are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

Over is 4-1 in Terriers last 5 non-conference games.

Under is 4-1-1 in Colonials last 6 home games.

Boston University has struggled losing three straight games after defeating South Carolina on the road. They really never got a break during November. December will be more relaxing for the Terriers. Remember, Boston University defeated South Carolina while George Washington lost. This has upset written all over it. George Washington Colonials wins, but does not cover ATS 73-70.
