Little Rock fought back from a 48-39 halftime deficit to tie the game at 86-all with just 3:42 remaining, however, the Trojans offense struggled down the stretch which allowed Memphis to pull away late for the victory. The Georgetown Hoyas snapped a 2-game losing streak and improved to 8-3 on the season after defeating the Appalachian State Mountaineers, 83-73, this past Tuesday night. Little Rock is not the same the defensive minded team that we saw make it to the NCAA Tournament a few years back as the Trojans are much more focused on the offense end and come into this game ranked 111th in scoring offense, 61st in assists per game, and 20th in FG%. Georgetown plays a similar style as although their defense is nothing to write home about, they come in with an offense that ranks 85th in scoring offense and 38th in assists per game. Georgetown’s size concerns me a bit hear, however, as I do think the Trojans will be able to put up some points similar to what they did agianst Memphis, I think the Trojans will do enough with the double-digit points to cover in this one.
