Georgia State Panthers -9 O/U: 149.5
The Little Rock Trojans and the Georgia State Panthers will match up on the college basketball circuit Saturday.
Little Rock is currently sitting at 10-18 this year. The Trojans have lost their last three straight games, falling to Texas State, Arkansas State and Georgia Southern in that span.
In the loss to the Eagles, Little Rock’s Rayjon Tucker topped the scoring on 21 points, two rebounds and two assists. The only other Trojans player in double-figures in that one was Nikola Maric with 18 points and eight rebounds.
Over on the Georgia State side, they’re 20-9 this season. The Panthers are 4-1 in their last five games, with victories over Troy, South Alabama, App State and Arkansas State in that run.
In the win over the Red Wolves, Georgia State’s Jeff Thomas topped the team’s scorers on 15 points with four rebounds. D’Marcus Simonds added 14 points for the Panthers in that one, and Devin Mitchell logged 13 points.
The Trojans are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 overall and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 versus the Sun Belt. Little Rock is 1-5 ATS in their last six Saturday games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven after an ATS loss.
Meanwhile, the Panthers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four home games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five overall. Georgia State is 3-1-1 ATS in their last five versus the Sun Belt and 1-4 ATS in their last five Saturday games.
Little Rock had a nice three-game win streak going this month, but in their three losses since then they haven’t gotten any closer than seven points—and fell by 15 to Georgia Southern.
With Georgia State putting up some nice points totals lately—at least 72 in nine straight games—I don’t have any issues taking the Panthers on the cover here.
