The Sun Belt college basketball title game pits the Texas-Arlington Mavericks against the Georgia State Panthers.

The Texas-Arlington Mavericks withstood a second half Georgia Southern rally to upend the Eagles 67-58 on Saturday to advance to the Sun Belt championship.

Brian Warren carried the Mavericks with a contest high 21 points with three yanks and four assists Andres Ibarguen adding 12 points and seven rebounds.

Patrick Mwamba gave Texas-Arlington another ten points, five pulls and three steals followed by Edric Dennis and Jabari Narcis with a combined 15 points and six boards.

The Georgia State Panthers overwhelmed the Texas State Bobcats with defense in a 59-46 victory in the Sun Belt semifinals on Saturday.

Malik Benlevi paced a balanced Panthers offense with 15 points and ten rebounds with Jeff Thomas tossing in 12 points and snagging six boards.

Georgia State saw another eleven points, seven rebounds and five helpers from D’Marcus Simonds followed by Kane Williams with nine points and six pulls.

Texas-Arlington Mavericks are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games following a straight up win and are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games overall and  are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 vs. Sun Belt.
