Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets PK O/U: 133
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will meet up on the college basketball court Tuesday.
Notre Dame enters this matchup at 11-7 on the year. The Irish have lost four of the last five games, with a win over Boston College mixed in with losses to Virginia Tech, Syracuse, UNC and NC State.
In the loss to the Wolfpack, Notre Dame’s top scorers were Jon Mooney and Dane Goodwin, each with 19 points. Goodwin added three assists and four rebounds while Mooney doubled up on 16 boards and two assists.
Over on the Georgia Tech side, they’re currently 10-8 this season. The Jackets are 1-3 in their last four outings, beating Syracuse and falling to Virginia Tech, Clemson and Louisville in that span.
In the loss to the Cardinals, Georgia Tech’s only double-digit scorer was James Banks, with 24 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. The next closest scorer was Michael Devoe with eight points for the Jackets.
The Fighting Irish are 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five Tuesday games. Notre Dame is also 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the ACC.
Meanwhile, the Jackets are 7-2 ATS in their last nine Tuesday games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 versus the ACC. Georgia Tech is 16-7 ATS in their last 23 games overall and 27-12 ATS in their last 39 home games.
It hasn’t been a great run of games for Notre Dame, but to their credit they’ve faced some tough opponents, and on the whole the Irish haven’t gotten blown off the floor.
This will be a good opportunity for Notre Dame to bounce back and gain a little road confidence, as they’ve got enough firepower to beat Georgia Tech if everyone on the squad is on their games. I’m going to stick with Notre Dame to manage a small win here.
