Mississippi State trailed by a 38-32 margin at halftime, however, dominated the Razorbacks on both ends of the court in the 2nd half and had no trouble pulling away after a 23-3 run to start the 2nd half gave Mississippi State a 55-41 lead with 12:01 left in regulation. Mississippi State shot 46.4% from the field and forced Arkansas into committing 20 turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Quinndary Weatherspoon who had 22 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 6 steals.

The Georgia Bulldogs lost their 6th straight game and dropped to 10-15 (1-11 SEC) on the season after being defeated by the 19th ranked LSU Tigers, 83-79, this past Saturday. Georgia gave LSU all they could handle, however, couldn’t pull fight back after LSU took an 82-74 lead with 2:43 left in regulation. Georgia struggled defensively in the loss as they allowed LSU to shoot 55.6% from the field and 38.5% from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Nicolas Claxton who had 17 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and a block.

Mississippi State is 11-4 ATS in their last 15 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, however, are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS win. Georgia is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss and just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
Mississippi State has won 3 of their last 5 games and come into this game ranked 57th in scoring offense, 49th in FG%, and 160th in scoring defense.
Georgia has lost 10 of their last 11 games and currently rank 141st in scoring offense, 273rd in scoring defense, and 346th in turnover margin.
Georgia has plated better at home this season as we saw as they battled a solid LSU team, however, it’s hard to trust Georgia’s defense as they’ve allowed their opponents to average 82.2 ppg over their last 5 games. Mississippi State has a solid offense as they rank in the top-60 in both FG% & 3P-FG% and as Mississippi State has a winning record ATS in their last 5 road games, I think Mississippi State does enough in this one to cover this mid-range home spread. Good Luck!
