The Baylor Bears and the Gonzaga Bulldogs will match up in college basketball action from the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday.

Baylor comes into this one at 20-13 overall on the year. The Bears fell to Iowa State in their Big 12 Tournament game, but bounced back with a win over Syracuse 78-69 in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament.

In the First Round win over the Orange, Baylor’s top scorer was Makai Mason on 22 points, four rebounds and four assists. Jared Butler added 14 points with five rebounds and four assists for the Bears in that one as well.

Over on the Gonzaga side, they’re 31-3 in all this year. The Bulldogs suffered a shocking upset to Saint Mary’s in the West Coast Tournament, but easily handled FDU in the NCAA Tournament Thursday.

In the First Round win over the Knights, Gonzaga’s top scorer was Rui Hachimura with 21 points, eight rebounds and one assist. Killian Tillie helped out the Bulldogs with 17 points, four assists and two rebounds as well.

The Bears are 4-0 ATS in their last four non-conference games and 6-0 ATS in their last six versus the West Coast. Baylor is 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven overall and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five Saturday games.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are 5-0 ATS in their last five non-conference games and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 versus the Big 12. Gonzaga is 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 NCAA Tournament games and the under is 5-0 in their last five non-conference games.

Well, it didn’t take long for Gonzaga to assert themselves in the first half of the Knights game; the Bulldogs were up 53-17 at the break. It was an emphatic start to the tournament, and a notable statement that Gonzaga has bounced back and is here to play. Baylor put up a good First Round win—there’s no doubt about that—but I’m still going to go with the Bulldogs all the way here, unless the line inflates to absolutely crazy proportions.
