The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils visit the Grambling Tigers in SWAC college basketball on Monday.

The MVSU Delta Devils have dropped six in a row after a 61-57 defeat at Jackson State on Saturday as a 10.5 point underdog.

Dante Scott kept MVSU within grasp of the upset with a contest high 28 points with three yanks while Jordan Evans added 13 points and five pulls.

Emmanuel Ejeh gave the Delta Devils five points, ten rebounds and three blocks followed by a four point, four pull effort from Marcus Mitchell.

The Grambling Tigers avoided a three game skid with a 79-55 rout of Arkansas-Pine Bluff as a 5.5 point home favorite on Saturday.

Grambling took a 17 point lead in to the intermission and were never challenged behind a 50.9%-34.8% edge in marksmanship.

Prince Moss was the Tigers go to scorer with 21 points, five pulls and six steals followed by Anthony Gaston with eleven points.

Axel Mpoyo gave the Tigers eight points and nine rebounds with Dallas Polk-Hilliard tossing in another eight points with six boards.
