The WAC college basketball playoffs get underway with the Seattle Redhawks opposing the Grand Canyon Antelopes.
The Seattle Redhawks closed their schedule with back to back overtime wins after downing Grand Canyon 83-76 as a three point home dog.
The Redhawks twosome of Terrell Brown and Morgan Means poured in 21 points apiece and combined for eleven rebounds and six helpers. Seattle saw 13 points and seven boards from Myles Carter followed by Delante Jones and Mattia Da Campo with 12 and nine points.
The Grand Canyon Antelopes enter the WAC postseason with a pair of losses after an 83-76 OT defeat at the Seattle Redhawks as a three point favorite.
Carlos Johnson was the Antelopes top gun with 22 points, three yanks and three assists with Alessandro Lever adding 15 points and seven boards.
Michael Finke gave Grande Canyon nine points and six pulls followed by Damari Milstead with another nine points and five helpers.
