Green Bay had one of their best defensive performances of the year against the high-scoring Oakland offense and easily pulled away in the 2nd half after taking a 39-23 lead with 16:20 left in regulation. Green Bay held Oakland to just 34.5% shooting from the field and forced the Golden Grizzlies into committing 27 turnovers in the victory. The Titans are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS win, however, are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Phoenix are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record, however, are just 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up win.
Detroit Mercy has lost 6 of their last 8 games and although they are able to do damage from beyond the arc as they rank 41st in three-pointers made per game & 93rd in 3P-FG%, the Titans have struggled defensively as they currently rank just 311th in scoring defense.
Green Bay has won 3 of their last 4 games and although their defense ranks just 345th in scoring defense & 274th in defensive FG%, the Phoenix have been solid offensively as they rank 20th in scoring offense.
Green Bay had no answers on the defensive end for the Titans in their first match-up this season as Detroit Mercy won by a 101-83 margin in early January, however, even with their recent victory at Milwaukee, the Titans have really struggled on the road this season as they are just 4-11 in away games on the season. Green Bay is 9-2 at home this season and as I was impressed by their recent defensive performance agianst Oakland, I think the Phoenix continues to play well and does enough to cover this home spread. Good Luck!
