The Delaware Blue Hens tangle with the Hofstra Pride in the semifinals of the CAA college basketball tournament.

The Delaware Blue Hens rallied from a 14 point halftime deficit to upend the William & Mary Tribe 85-79 on Sunday to punch their ticket to the conference semifinals.
Ithiel Horton led the Blue Hens comeback with 26 points with  Ryan Allen right in his shadow with a 20 point, four assist performance.

Kevin Anderson gave Delaware 15 points, three yanks and seven helpers followed by Eric Carter with 13 points and ten rebounds.

The Hofstra Pride opened the CAA postseason with a 76-67 victory against the James Madison Dukes on Sunday as a 12 point favorite.

Justin Wright-Foreman led Hofstra with 17 points and four assists followed by Jacquil Taylor with 16 points, eleven rebounds and five blocks.

Jalen Ray and Eli Pemberton gave the Pride 13 points apiece and a combined five pulls while Desure Buie tossed in ten points with three yanks and three assists.

Hofstra reigned supreme in the Colonial and Delaware was 5th but the question is whether the Blue Hens can at least keep the Pride in the 70’s to give themselves a chance.

Delaware Blue Hens are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win and  are 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall and are 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. Colonial Athletic Association.

Hofstra Pride are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall and  are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. Colonial Athletic Association and are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games.

Hofstra dominated the Blue Hens twice and I don't see an upset coming. As a Delaware fan all I can hope for is to avoid another blow out...

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
