The Hofstra Pride finished their regular season with an overall record of 25-6 and earned the 1-seed in the CAA Men’s Championship after finishing conference play with a 15-3 record. Hofstra at one point had the nations longest winning streak at 16-games this season and come into postseason play winners of 6 of their last 8 games. Hofstra was led by their explosive offense that comes into this game ranked 8th in scoring offense, 11th in FG%, 15th in 3P-FG%, and 2nd in FT%.

James Madison and Hofstra split their regular season series as the Dukes upset the Pride by a 104-99 (OT) in late February on the road while the Pride won by a 85-68 margin at James Madison in late January.
James Madison has been playing better as of late as they’ve won 4 of their last 7 games, however, the Dukes haven’t been anything special on either end of the court this season as James Madison comes into this game ranked just 246th in scoring offense, 218th in scoring defense, and 282nd in defensive FG%. Hofstra has had over a week to rest since their 92-70 victory to end their regular season and as I think the Hofstra offense will have no trouble putting up points in this one, I think the Pride win this one by double-digits and cover this spread. Good Luck!
