The #6 Houston Cougars look to avoid the upset bid of the Central Florida Knights in Saturday college basketball.

The Central Florida Knights continue to rack up wins after upending the South Florida Bulls 76-63 on Wednesday as a 3.5 point favorite.

Central Florida has won five of six which has landed the team in third place in the American Athletic with three games remaining.

The balanced Knights offense saw 18 points and five pulls from Tacko Fall with BJ Taylor netting 15 points and handing out five assists.

UCF received 14 points and seven boards from Aubrey Dawkins followed by Dayon Griffin who contributed another eleven points.

The Houston Cougars piled up another victory in a 99-65 rout of the East Carolina Pirates on Wednesday as a 17 point road favorite.

Houston has been the most dependable and consistent squad in the American with only one loss with the 5thranked defense leading the way.

Corey Davis Jr. poured in a game high 26 points with three yanks followed by 16 points and three pulls from Fabian White Jr.

Armoni Brooks gave the Cougars 12 points and four boards followed by a combined 19 points from Nate Hinton and Dejon Jarreau.
