MEAC college basketball playoffs features the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats taking on the Howard Bison.

The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats head to the MEAC playoffs off of a  64-56 loss to the visiting Florida A&M  Rattlers  as a  6.5  point favorite.

Cletrell Pope was the Wildcats top threat with 17 points and 13 rebounds with Malik Maitland adding 13 points, four pulls, five assists and five steals.

Bethune-Cookman received eight points from Armani Collins followed by Dondre Duffus and Shawntrez Davis with seven and five points and a combined nine rebounds.

The Howard Bison caught fire to end the year with four wins in a row following a 98-95 road win versus the Norfolk State Spartans.

RJ Cole Keyed the Bison upset with a monster 36 point, seven assist performance with Charles Williams pouring in another 27 points.

Kyle Foster gave Howard another 15 points while Akuwovo Ogheneyole and Chad Lott combined for ten points and 12 rebounds.

Bethune-Wildcats are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss and  are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and  are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games.

Howard Bison are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up win and  are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record and  are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win.

I am looking at Howard and the concern is their defense holding up their end of the bargain...
