The Harvard Crimson look for a spark of consistency after splitting their last eight games. The Harvard Crimson are averaging 68.2 points on 47.1 percent shooting and allowing 70.2 points on 45.6 percent shooting. Chris Lewis is averaging 12.8 points and 3.9 rebounds while Noah Kirkwood is averaging 10.1 points and 1.5 assists. Justin Bassey is dishing 2.6 assists and Danilo Djuricic is grabbing 4.1 rebounds. The Harvard Crimson are allowing 36.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 32.3 rebounds per game. The Harvard Crimson have lost each of their last four road games.
The Howard Bison could also use a win here after losing 11 of their last 15 games. The Howard Bison are averaging 74.5 points on 41.2 percent shooting and allowing 80.7 points on 45.5 percent shooting. RJ Cole is averaging 20.9 points and 6.3 assists while Charles Williams is averaging 18.3 points and 2.9 rebounds. Chad Lott is the third double-digit scorer and Andre Toure is grabbing 4.2 rebounds. The Howard Bison are shooting 33 percent from beyond the arc and 72.3 percent from the free throw line. The Howard Bison are allowing 35.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.5 rebounds per game. The Howard Bison have split their last six home games.
The Crimson are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games, 0-5 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Bison are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games, 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The over is 13-6 in Bison last 19 overall. The over is 4-1 in Crimson last 5 overall.
The Howard Bison have played better basketball as of late, but the bottom line is they're still a team that's lost 11 of their last 15 games. The Harvard Crimson have had struggles of their own, but four of their five covers this season have come on the road and they haven't had the easiest task when you consider some of their road games this season. This is a much more winnable game for Harvard, and even with some key guys out due to injury, I'll still give them the edge on the road. The Howard Bison simply aren't a good basketball team overall at either end of the court.
