Idaho State Bengals +1 O/U: 156.5
The Montana State Bobcats and the Idaho State Bengals will match up on the college basketball circuit Thursday.
Montana State is currently 11-12 on the year. The Bobcats are sitting on a three-game win streak right now, toppling Northern Colorado, Eastern Washington and Idaho in that stretch.
In the win over the Vandals, Montana State’s top scorer was Harald Frey with 17 points, five rebounds and seven assists. Keljin Blevins added 16 points and five rebounds for the Bobcats in that one and Devin Kirby had 14 points.
Over on the Idaho State side, they’re 9-13 this season. The Bengals are 2-1 over their last three games, with a loss to Southern Utah following wins over Portland State and Northern Arizona in that time.
In the loss to the Thunderbirds, Idaho State’s top scorers were Kelvin Jones and Brandon Boyd, each with 16 points and a combined 11 rebounds and five assists between them. Also in double-figures for the Bengals there was Balint Mocsan with 13 points.
The Bobcats are 6-0 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. Montana State is 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Big Sky.
Meanwhile, the Bengals are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 Thursday games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five overall. Idaho State is 1-3-1 ATS in their last five versus the Big Sky and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four home games.
Montana State has looked pretty solid over this three-game stretch, and they’re putting up some nice numbers on the scoreboard lately—including 86 against Idaho.
Overall, Idaho State has had some solid recent performances as well, but right now I don’t quite trust them as much as I do the Bobcats. I’m going to stick with Montana State here.
