The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks go on the road to face the Idaho Vandals in a Saturday college basketball bout.

The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks are eyeing back to back wins after upending Southern Utah 80-77 on Monday in overtime.

Northern Arizona saw the Thunderbirds hold a small 41.4%-38.2% shooting advantage but stayed close 18 extra shots.

Jonathan Andre was the Lumberjacks top option with 19 points and eight rebounds followed by Carlos Hines with 17 points and three yanks.

NAU received 14 points and four pulls from Ted McCree while Luke Avdalovic and Cameron Shelton added nine and six points with six boards each.

The Idaho Vandals are mired in a five game slide after a 69-53 defeat versus Portland State as a 9.5 point underdog on the road.

Idaho managed 23 first half points and trailed by 17 points with just 38.2% marksmanship and eight trips to the charity stripe.

Trevon Allen topped the Idaho attack  with 12 points, three yanks and five pulls with Scott Blakeney adding another 12 points and seven rebounds.

Khadim Samb and Cameron Tyson gave Vandals six points apiece followed by Geno West with five points and three boards.
