The IUPUI Jaguars and the UIC Flames will meet up on Friday in college basketball activity.

IUPUI enters this one at 8-7 on the season. The Jaguars are sitting on a four-game losing streak right now, falling to Fort Wayne, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky and Wright State in that time.

In the Raiders game, IUPUI’s Camron Justice led the team on 17 points with seven rebounds and two assists. Evan Hall added 13 with four rebounds for the Jaguars, and Ahmed Ismail managed 10 with three rebounds.

Over on the UIC side, they’re 7-8 this year. The Flames had a three-game win streak going versus Incarnate Word, St. Francis IL and Wright State, but fell to Northern Kentucky in their last outing.

In the Norse game, UIC guard Marcus Ottey led the team in scoring with 18 points and one assist. Jacob Wiley put up 12 points and seven rebounds as the only other Flames player in double-digits.

The Jaguars are 5-2 ATS in their last seven versus the Horizon League and 11-5-2 ATS in their last 18 overall. IUPUI is 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games and the over is 6-2 in their last eight overall.

Meanwhile, the Flames are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 Friday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall. UIC is 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the Horizon League and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 following an ATS loss.

IUPUI hasn’t been scoring too badly during this current losing streak though they did manage just 64 versus Wright State.

UIC can score pretty well also, and they’re leveling out a little bit following a sketchy opening.

This is a tough one, but I trust IUPUI a little more here.

Pick:
IUPUI Jaguars +3.5
