The Bradley Braves travel to the Illinois State Redbirds in MVC college basketball action.

The Bradley Braves come off of a 61-54 victory against Loyola-Illinois as a three point home underdog on Wednesday night.

Bradley has now won four of five and have gone from an afterthought in the conference to 5thin the standings with the end of the year approaching.

Darrell Brown carried the Braves offense with 21 points followed by Elijah Childs who netted 13 points and grabbed seven boards.

Luuk van Bree gave Bradley another eleven points and ten rebounds while Nate Kennell and Ja’Shon Henry with five and four points.

The Illinois State Redbirds are staring at a three game skid after dropping a 77-64 decision at Northern Illinois as a two point underdog on Wednesday.

Illinois State was poised to move up the Missouri Valley standings a few weeks ago but are now clinging on to 4th.

Phil  Fayne kept the Redbirds competitive pouring in 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds followed by a nine point effort from Zach Copeland.

Illinois State saw eight points and nine rebounds from William Tinsley while Isaac Gassman and Keyshawn Evans tossing in with eight points each.
