The Oklahoma Sooners won their 2nd straight game and improved to 17-10 (5-9 Big 12) on the season after defeating the Texas Longhorns, 69-67, this past Saturday. Oklahoma was solid on the defensive end agianst the Longhorns and was able to hold on late after taking a 50-33 lead with 16:21 left in regulation. Oklahoma shot 48.3% from the field while holding Texas to just 41.0% from the field and 32.3% from beyond the arc. Iowa State struggled from beyond the arc agianst the Horned Frogs and couldn’t fight all the way back after TCU took a 67-62 lead with 5:12 left in regulation. Iowa State shot just 10.0% from beyond the arc and was outrebounded by TCU by a 42-37 margin in the loss. The Sooners are 8-1-3 ATS in their last 12 road games and 17-7-3 ATS in their last 27 games overall. The Cyclones are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss, however, are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

Oklahoma has lost 6 of their last 10 games and although the Sooners have a solid defense as they rank 71st in scoring defense & 20th in defensive FG%, Oklahoma has struggled offensively as they come into this match-up ranked just T-227th in scoring offense.

Iowa State has won 5 of their last 8 games and has been solid on both ends of the court as they currently rank 54th in scoring offense, 28th in FG%, and 67th in scoring defense.

Oklahoma has picked up some nice wins as of late, however, it was a bit concerning how they closed out their recent victory agianst a Texas team that was missing their top-scorer. Iowa State had a rough week last week, however, this is still a very talented team who is tough to beat on their home court. Iowa State needs a win in the worst way and as I think this line is a little lower than it should be, I think the Cyclones get back on track in this one and do enough to cover this large home spread. Good Luck!
