The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles visit the Jacksonville Dolphins in Atlantic Sun college basketball on Friday.

The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are looking for a third straight win after downing Kennesaw State 78-56 as a 12.5 point home favorite.

Florida Gulf Coast is a few steps behind where they were the past several years but the team could take over 4th on the last day of the season with a win and New Jersey Tech loss.

Zach  Scott led  the  Eagles offense  with  16 points  followed Dinero  Mercurius who  contributed  another 14  points.

Troy Baxter Jr. and Christian Carlyle gave Florida Gulf Coast 12 points and five boards each followed by Schadrac Casimir with eight points and six helpers.

The Jacksonville Dolphins look to bounce back from a 69-55 loss to North Alabama as two point road favorite on Tuesday night.

Jacksonville has dropped three in a row and are 7th in the Atlantic Sun standings and have struggled for consistency at both ends of the floor.

DeAnthony McCallum topped the Dolphins with eleven points and three yanks with Dave Bell tossing in ten points and grabbing seven boards.

Jacksonville received nine points and five pulls from JD Notae followed Derrick Flowers and Jalyn Hinton with six and five points.

Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are 26-12 ATS in their last 38 vs. Atlantic Sun and Florida Gulf Coast

Eagles are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 road games.

Jacksonville Dolphins are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and Jacksonville Dolphins are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. Atlantic Sun.

Florida Gulf Coast needs a win to at least have a chance at 4th and that should get the team going...

Florida Gulf Coast +1

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
