James Madison Dukes +1.5 O/U: 145
The William & Mary Tribe and the James Madison Dukes will match up on the college basketball court Saturday.
William & Mary currently sits at 13-16 on the season. The Tribe have notched victories in their last four straight games, taking out Elon, Charleston, UNCW and Towson during that stretch.
In the win over the Tigers, William & Mary’s lead scorer was Nathan Knight on 19 points with six rebounds and two assists. Justin Pierce added 17 points with eight rebounds for the Tribe in that one and Chase Audige posted 15 points with six boards.
Over on the James Madison side, they’re 13-17 this year. The Dukes are 1-2 in the last three games, with a win over Hofstra sandwiched between losses to Northeastern and Elon.
In their loss to the Phoenix, James Madison’s Darius Banks led the team on 15 points with six rebounds. Dwight Wilson added 12 points and five boards for the Dukes, and both Stuckey Mosley and Matt Lewis notched 10 points.
The Tribe are 4-0 ATS in their last four Saturday games and 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. William & Mary are 4-1 ATS in the last five versus the CAA and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games.
Meanwhile, the Dukes are 2-7 ATS in their last nine home games versus a team with a losing road record and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 versus a team with a losing straight-up record. The under is 5-1 in the Dukes’ last six overall and 5-1 in their last six versus the CAA.
The Tribe are on a nice run right now, even though they’ve had a couple of nail-biters in this four-game win streak—namely a pair of two-point wins over Charleston and Towson.
It’s been a while since these teams have met up, but back on December 28 the Tribe eked out a 79-74 home win. JMU should get a home lift in this one, but I still like William & Mary on the cover.
