The Kent State Golden Flashes host the Eastern Michigan Eagles in a MAC college basketball tilt.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles are gunning for a third consecutive win after upending Ohio 66-57 as a three point road favorite on Tuesday.

Eastern Michigan has an opportunity to move up a few spots in the standings for the postseason if both ends of the floor can be consistent.

Elijah Minnie  topped the Eagles  with 19  points and six boards with James Thompson IV adding 18 points and 15 rebounds.

EMU received another ten points and seven helpers from Paul Jackson followed by Tariq Silver who chipped in with eight points.

The Kent State Golden Flashes avoided a two game skid with an 82-63 rout of Western Michigan as a five point road favorite on Thursday.

Kent State is battling for a top four spot in the MAC as the team generally wins when they should and is capable of winning anywhere.

Jaylin Walker led the Golden Flashes with a contest high 25 points and six boards with Philip Whittington netting 17 points and hauling in 13 rebounds.

Mitch  Peterson gave  Kent  State another  17  points followed  by  Anthony Roberts  who  contributed 14  points.

EMU Eagles are 14-4 ATS in their last 18 vs. Mid-American and EMU Eagles are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS win and EMU Eagles are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

I know Eastern Michigan dominated the first matchup but Kent State won’t let that happen here…

Pick:
Kent State -4

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
